
Pablo Sywulka
Born in Guatemala, where both his parents and grandparents served as missionaries. Paul completed university studies in Guatemala and the United States, and received a master's degree from Dallas Theological Seminary in 1967. In this same year he began his teaching career at the Central American Theological Seminary where he also met his wife, Jean, who had come to serve in that institution.
Paul has occupied various administrative roles in SETECA, currently serves as professor of biblical studies and was rector until January 2006. In 2001 he received his doctorate in New Testament from Dallas Theological Seminary. He has written several articles for the journal Kairós. He has served his local church in teaching, pastoral work and the ministry of music. In addition to participating in seminars and consultations on theological education, Paul has led conferences in several Latin American countries.
